I'm not sure why I've not heard of Marnz Malone before but the Birmingham rapper's new single is by far my favourite discovery from listening to the entirety of Spotify's New Music Friday playlist this week.
Sometimes a rapper just has a voice where it doesn't even really matter what they're saying, you just want to listen. Marnz has that.
On Nana's Veranda he floats over soulful production with an array of wordplay introspective lyrics.
I might be late to the party but I know what should be on the aux now.
